TASTING NOTES
Tertiary , complex, fine nose. Floral notes of dried wildflowers, coffee, bark, undergrowth and tobacco, spices, licorice, a slight hint of powder and enamel. Mouth characterized by a lively acidity, delicate and very fine tannins. Very persistent and full of character. Long and elegant finish with hints of rosemary and ripe cherry. A wine for special occasions and for meditation.
FOOD PAIRING
Game, roasted wild duck, venison risotto, pappardelle with hare sauce, boar meatballs. Although... this an excellent wine also to enjoy on its own perhaps paired with just a few tidbits of fine patisserie filled with pistachios, raisins, chopped walnuts and candied orange.
